Problem: Prevent document reflow/browser resize when android keyboard opens

02 October, 2018
Let suppose you have a media query such as @media screen and (max-height: 470px) and (max-width: 900px)

While there is a resize on keyboard open, two options appear.
if you are using a framework on mobile development, such as Cordova, look for some framework built-in event,

like,

window.addEventListener('native.showkeyboard', keyboardShowHandler);
window.addEventListener('native.hidekeyboard', keyboardHideHandler);

and implement a solution in keyboardShowHandler or keyboardHideHandler

or use some other event types, since we can define our events, it's up to the
framework to specify the EventTarget.dispatchEvent().

Else, for website browser usage,

Use a 'focusin'/'focusout' approach, depending on your need, or a 'resize' event, but since we are concerned about
the keyboard, we suppose the user is typing, and there is no other resize event as portrait/landscape transition.

Solution:

Use focus events (js) to prevent the css resize rule to apply in this case.

Nicknamed "Umana commedia", "Human comedy", is a collection of novellas by the 14th-century Italian author Giovanni Boccaccio (1313–1375).

The book is structured as a frame story containing 100 tales told by a group of seven young women and three young men sheltering in a secluded villa just outside Florence to escape the Black Death, which was afflicting the city.

Boccaccio probably conceived of The Decameron after the epidemic of 1348, and completed it by 1353.

The various tales of love in The Decameron range from the erotic to the tragic. Tales of wit, practical jokes, and life lessons contribute to the mosaic.

In addition to its literary value and widespread influence (for example on Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales), it provides a document of life at the time.

Written in the vernacular of the Florentine language, it is considered a masterpiece of classical early Italian prose
